While you can import a car to the UK yourself, it’s often a complex and time-consuming task. We offer a service to handle it for you. The DVLA’s import guide advises: If you’re permanently importing a car to the UK, you must: Notify HMRC of the car’s details within 14 days of arrival. Pay any applicable VAT before DVLA can register the vehicle. After notifying HMRC, you must register, tax, and fully insure the car before driving. UK residents cannot drive vehicles with foreign registration plates in the UK.
